Long Life Characteristics of OS-CON

This chart shows the long life characteristics of the OS-CON. The OS-CON does not have a yield point (time) as a definite deterioration failure on its life as shown above. The temperature acceleration coefficient of the OS-CON is ten times by 20 degrees C increase. This indicates, for example, the deterioration at 105 degrees C x 2000 hours can be converted.

For an aluminum electrolytic capacitor (AL-E CAP)

         65 degrees C x 32,000 hours (3.6 years)

         45 degrees C x 128,000 hours (14.6 years)

For OS-CON

          65 degrees C x 200,000 hours (22 years)

          45 degrees C x 2,000,000 hours (220 years) 

This means the OS-CON has an extremely longer life in practical use under the same warranty of 105 degrees C x 2000 hours.
